activities of the Yorks and Lancaster Regiment at Pontefract, before its
long associations with the town are ended.

The 200th anniversary of the Battle of Minden was celebrated during the
weekend by troops of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infirmary at the
Regimental Depot, Pontefract..

CONTEST
The second of a series of recruits dances at Pontefract Barracks, at
which will be selected qualifiers for the title of 'Miss K.O.Y.L.I.' was

Royal Air Force Association held a whist drive in the Gymnasium at the

The York and Lancaster Regiment has bought
the Victoria Cross awarded to Lance-Corporal Sinnott, of the 84th [York
and Lancaster] Regiment
