FRUIT AND VEG BUSINESS WILLOW PARK

I
have just purchased issue number 13 of the Digest - Pontefract Edition,
the first one I have purchased. I would be interested to know if
anyone has any recollections of my Grandfather, when he had the horse
and cart fruit business in Willow Park along with the bus transport
under the name of Cranswick and Millett.
According
to my mother, Gerorge Millett was a very popular man in Willow Park so
if anyone knows anything I would be pleased to hear from them.
In
response to the letter submitted by Pete Roberts on 19th February, in
which he mentioned Chequerfield
Hospital, I remember it very clearly as me and my mates used to explore
it. As far as I am aware it used to be the old Fever Hospital during the
war.
