BUBWITH HOUSE FARM
AND THE ATKINSON FAMILY HISTORY

I
have just discovered your web site on Pontefract history, which I found to be
extremely interesting. I then came across the picture of the
"Broken Bridge" in Eric Houlder's article 'Search for the
Broken Bridge'.
The house in the
background must surely be Bubwith House Farm, where my great
grandparents (Atkinson) lived in the early 1900's. What a find!
I would be eternally grateful if you know of anyone with any information
on the Atkinson family history or Bubwith House.
